Studying Eastern philosophies has helped Patricia on her path to health and wellness. Patricia uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle and dietary counseling to treat physical/emotional conditions and employs a holistic approach to medicine. In her practice she enjoy working with chronic pain, chronic conditions, and women’s health.
Struggling with chronic pain often leaves us to manage our lives on our own, and pressured to make our own medical decisions. This experience can be challenging and daunting if you are already presented with the daily experience of chronic pain. Patricia’s treatments include customised strategies in order to help with daily living and wellness, exercise and stress reduction techniques, and chronic pain coaching.
Patricia’s keen interest in Eastern philosophy led her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture. There, she received a Master’s degree of Oriental Medicine (Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles). Prior to that Patricia was a Clinical Social Worker in crisis counseling and case management with adults and children. She then began working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities which led her to becoming a US Nationally Certified American Sign Language Medical Interpreter. Patricia stays healthy with yoga, dancing, meditation and exercise.
